Good afternoon!

I am Mary Elizabeth O'Neal, 4-H Agent for Caddo parish. I am so honored to be a recipient of one of the Ozark Society Youth Grants this year. The plan for this grant is to create an environmental awareness club that we call the "Field and Forest Club".

I have partnered with Hummer and Sons to help with our beekeeping facet of the club, Delta Waterfowl and the American Legion will be helping with our wood duck boxes and other wetland/migratory bird projects, I have a forestry and entomology background so we will do workshops on dendrology and insect ID/pinning - but I still have a want (and a need) of partners for our other projects. I wanted to reach out to your club to see if there is anything that we can do together, or a project or event that we could be a part of to make our impact larger.

I would be happy to meet with someone to discuss opportunities for this.

My office is the LSU AgCenter office on E. 70th, or I could certainly come to you guys.
