Sunrise Triathlon

Come get your community service in the easy way. We’ll provide safety boats for the annual Sunrise event at the American Legion Post at 5315 South Lakeshore Drive in Shreveport. Race start time is 730am so plan to be in the water no later than 700am so we can get out of their way and get into position on the course.

We will observe swimmers, allow them to hold on to our boats if they are in distress or need a rest. We will not advance a swimmer. We will notify officials if a swimmer can’t continue. We’re typically done with these responsibilities within an hour or so. We can then take a relaxing paddle along the shoreline of Cross Lake if you’d like.
