The time has come to become a Bayou Bandit! The River Rat Paddle Challenge is on September 20, 2025 in West Monroe, LA. BCOS will be participating as Team Bayou Bandit again this year. Our participants have won many medals, have won the coveted "I smell a rat" paddle and even have paddlers in the River Rat Hall of Fame.
Online registration is open until September 15; however, if you want to be guaranteed a race shirt, you must register by the end of August. You may register for the original 8-mile paddle challenge or the shorter 3-mile Mini Mouse race. Some Bayou Bandits are the founding mini mouses so there is no shame in choosing the shorter route.
