What: We will paddle from the spillway to the Twin Bridges on Hwy 157. Make sure to check in at kiosk or on the LDWF WMA mobile app.
Parking/amenities: Park and offload boats at launch location. We will have a vehicle and trailer at the take out already, but if you want to shuttle your vehicle to the take out, have your boat unloaded at the launch by 5:30pm. Parking at the Twin Bridges is limited. Bathrooms are available in the campground.
Lagniappe: We will have extra boats if you don’t feel like loading yours up for this paddle. Just let Mark or Tammy know if you need one.
Duration: 2.5 hours
What to bring: Kayak, paddle, PFD, bug spray, sunblock, water and snack.
Also, if you want to participate in a short litter pick up after the paddle, bring some gloves, rakes, pickers, etc and we’ll spend 15-20 minutes picking up trash at the Twin Bridges take out. The COE will provide trash bags but sometimes I like to tote a bucket as I find it easier.
