Hi BCOS friends,
I am planning to work some trails at the OWL Center in Dubach Monday October 3rd. Â They need some light cleanup work accomplished on a few areas. Â I plan to arrive at the OWL office at 9 am. Â We will work until noon or 1 Pm. Â This should be plenty of time to get things cleaned up.
Bring gloves , loppers, weed whackers, and boots for sure. Â Or just come lend a hand. Â Suggest bug Spray ,drinks and a snack for yourself. Â We will clear sticks ,vines and debris so riders and walkers can pass safely on the trails.
The OWL or Outdoor WIlderness Learning Center , is an Equine therapy ranch primarily for children and special needs people. They also have programs for church , work or community groups. They have only a few paid staff , the rest are volunteers. Â The trails stretch over their 800 acres. Â BCOS has been helping for about 5 years now. Please come and see what we do and lend a hand.

OWL is located at 1523 Louisiana 563 , Dubach La. Â Â Take I-20 east to exit 78 turn left on 563 . It will go through 1 stop sign . At 6.9 miles from I-20 you will arrive at the OWL will be on you right.
