About the event
The Ark-La-Tex Orienteering Society (ALTOS) will be holding this orienteering meet at Eddie D Jones Park. Â You can find registration information on the ALTOS website at Louisiana Orienteering (altosonline.org). Â If you just want to day hike and not be part of the competition, you can participate for $3. Â We still need you to preregister so we can have a map available for you to use. Â Â You will need to bring something that points to north (a compass is handy), appropriate clothing and footwear for the woods, water, snacks, etc. Â A watch is good to have so we don't have to go looking for straglers. Â You should probably plan to arrive by 9:00am to finish your registration and get instructions. Â You can email jenny@altosonline.org with any questions. Â See you in the woods!
