About the event
Let's enjoy and early spring paddle on the north end of Cypress Lake!
When: Sunday, 3/26/23 at 2 pm (arrive by 1:30, plan to be on the water by 2:00 ish)
Where: Hwy 162 boat ramp on the north side of Cypress Lake - 3.5 miles east of Benton.

Cost: no launch cost for non-motorized boats
Parking/amenities: Park at the boat ramp. The last time I looked there was a port-o-let but no other “facilities”.
Duration: This is an "out and back" paddle. I anticipate about 2 hours on the water total.
Difficulty: Easy/leisurely. We do occasionally run into obstacles (downed trees, etc) here but hopefully can navigate around those.
What to bring: The usual... Water, bug spray, sunscreen, PFD, paddle, boat...
Other: Bring a small garbage bag, pickers and/or bucket if you're willing to help pick up/carry out any trash we run across.
After the paddle: We can grab some post-paddle refreshments at Taquira San Miguel on Benton Road (5000 Benton Rd. Ste. 10 Bossier City, LA 71111)
