About the event
Meet either at the Park itself by 9 am, or to carpool/caravan meet at Walmart (2501 Greenwood Rd.) at 8am . Martin Creek Lake State Park is approximately a 45 minute drive from there.
$4 entry fee to enter the park
Join us to enjoy abundant wildlife, and a historic hike on the Harmony Hill Loop(1.5miles) - a Nationally Registered Historic District and Henderson Rd. Loop; these intersect. (2.8)
We will also hike Martin Creek Island Trail (1 mile) where we will cross the water on a scenic boardwalk.
Lunch with us afterwards at T's Cafe and Catering in Tatum; 15 minutes away. (Best rated in Tatum/home-style dishes)
