About the event
Meet at Lake Bistineau State Park at 10:30am. Entrance fee does apply. Paddles in the water at 11:00am. We'll follow the 5-mile paddle trail counter clockwise. Hopefully we will not have to detour around salvinia but if we do, we'll paddle on the edge of the boat channel so be cautious of the big boats. Bring water, a snack, PFD, boat and paddle. And a great attitude.
The paddle leader will take a break when we get close to Plum Orchard to allow everyone to catch up. If you're not familiar with the paddle trail, this is a great opportunity to learn how to follow it. We always have a "sweep" paddler to make sure no one gets left behind. This paddle typically takes 2.5 hours. If you have any questions, please contact me.
