We'll need volunteers to assist in leading a Kid's Kayaking event at Caney Lake Minden with Webster Parish Tourism.

About the event
The Kid's Play Day is scheduled for Saturday, June 24 from 10:00am to 3:00pm. We're all a kid at heart so come on out and volunteer or just play. We'll be putting kids in kayaks so we'll need some safety boats and some help with basic water safety and paddling instruction. Webster Parish Tourism will have other activities, food options and other vendors on site. We will be at a beach so no worries on how to launch, etc.
This event will be at the group day use area at Caney Lakes just north of Minden. If you've been to our camps or hikes out there before, note that we'll be in a different part of the park. We'll be on the lower lake.
We do have several members who will be camping that weekend in the Beaver Dam campground on the upper lake. Feel free to join if you'd like.
