Hello KBB Volunteers and Partners,
We are set to plant trees on Saturday! Special thanks to our sponsors, Barksdale Federal Credit Union, Bossier City Lions Club, Bossier Press Tribune and a donation, In Honor of Earline Benoit Harper.We will plant 53, five-gallon Natchez White Crepe Myrtle trees along Tall Timbers Blvd. and Whispering Pines in Haughton. We will begin at 9:30, please park in the gravel lot on the right as you pull in on Tall Timbers Blvd.Thank you to our team leaders!

Our partner, the Bossier Parish Police Jury, will have the holes pre dug for us. Please bring a shovel, with your name on it, and gloves if you have them. We will have extras on site if needed. Each team will plant 7 or 8 trees. When you check in at registration you will be given a list of tree numbers your team is requested to plant. We will take a group photo, get planting instructions, and begin immediately afterwards. Please watch the 1-minute video from the Arbor Day Foundation linked below. If any of your team members have not registered yet, please forward this information.It will be cold, as it always is on Arbor Day, but we have a good group of volunteers registered to assist with this project.
