About the event
If anyone wants to carpool, we will meet at the Brookshires on N. Market at 8:15. Please text Jill Frost (318-349-5000) and let her know you’re meeting us there so you won’t get left.
It is about a 1 ½ hour drive to the park. The address is 455 Park Road 17 in Daingerfield, TX. There is a $4 entrance fee per person. Children 12 and under are free. When you enter the park look for a concrete wall with a horizontal sign that says “Welcome to Daingerfield State Park.” We will meet near there, find restrooms and our trailhead.
We will hike for about 2 hours so bring plenty of water, bug spray, sunscreen/hat, pole, snack, money for lunch and whatever else you may need.
