About the event
Join us at Cypress Black Bayou Recreation Area for our Fun Day on Saturday, June 21st.
Our plan is to put kids in boats from 10am to 2pm. We will set up on the right side of the marina building. We'll have a little lagoon area on the beach to teach some basic water safety and paddling skills. The set up will be similar to what we do at Bodcau for Hunting and Fishing Day just easier since we'll be at the beach.
CBBRA has offered discounted camping rates to those who wish to camp that weekend. If you're interested, let me know and I'll get a list together to submit to him. Please let me know by Thursday June 12 as spots may start filling up for that weekend.
Volunteers will get free entry into the park and a BCOS t-shirt if you haven't already received one. We'll have…
