Cost: There is a $5 per vehicle fee. Stop at the iron ranger (check-in spot) to put your 5$ in envelope (remember to tear off the part to put on your dash) and place envelope in slot (there's also a new device at the check in station that accepts credit card payments). America the Beautiful/Senior Pass admitted for $2.50.
Parking/Instructions: Meeting/parking at the Upper Caney Lake Boat Launch. There are 2 different boat launches in this recreational area so don’t go to the wrong one… we are meeting at the UPPER Caney boat launch that is near the campground. Upon entering the park (after stopping to pay your $5) turn LEFT and follow the signs toward the campground. Look for boat launch sign on right after about a mile(?) or less.
