When: Saturday, June 4th
Where: Wenks's Landing, Public Corp of Engineers 129 Wenk's Landing Rd, Sarepta, LA 71071
Cost: No cost but you need to "check in" either using the LDWF app or at the check-in station on site
Parking Instructions: Please Don’t be late for the shuttle service to the Hwy 160 Bridge
Duration: This is a leisurely scenic 7-mile bayou paddle down a northern section of the Bodcau Bayou.
There are restrooms at the put in location only.
Difficulty: Should be leisurely weather permitting and water level permitting
Be at the Wenks landing by 9:00am to get boats ready then we will shuttle vehicles to the take out by 9:30am. Paddlers in the water by 10:00am
What to bring: Bring a sack lunch, snacks, and drinks we will stop about halfway down the scenic Bodcau Bayou for a lunch break.
Bring your kayak/canoe, paddle, paddle lanyard, carabiners, bug spray, sunblock, PFD, good water shoes.
Take out: Hwy 160 Bridge Ivan, LA. RG7Q+HVW Cotton Valley, Louisiana
