Briarwood Tour
Briarwood Nature Preserve is located in Natchitoches Parish 2.6 miles South of Saline, LA. It is approximately 1-1/2 hours from Bossier City.
The Guided Tour will be conducted by Bayli Brossette, Curator. The tour will consist of the grounds and trails covering 212 acres. Tours include the viewing of Caroline’s cabin, Wing’s Rest Pond, Bay Garden, Grandpappy, and many other unique places. The tours at Briarwood are not what you would expect anywhere else. The Tour, Hike/Walk will be about 1-2 miles and is mostly shaded. The Tour of Caroline’s Cabin, a log cabin built in the 1950’s contains period items and memorabilia from Caroline Dormon’s life.
We can meet at Briarwood at 10:00 AM, Saturday June 14.
The tour will last about 2 hours.
