1North Adventure Trails Hike

The Commissioners and Staff of the Red River Waterway District welcome you to 1North Adventure Trails and our “Partnership with Nature”. The property is located along Hwy 1 in Blanchard, La., 7 miles north of I-49.

The property is now open for public use and can be accessed from the trailhead located at the interim use parking lot along Hwy 1.

Planned future Master Plan phases over the next 5 years include a new entrance area with a large concrete parking lot, restrooms, picnic pavilions, scenic overlooks, a downhill bike HUB, an all-weather bike launch pad and kids skills area, an amphitheater adjacent to the lake, and food truck spaces.
