What a hot streak we are having !!! We've considered having a raft-up or just gathering at the Madisonville river wall but with the very high temperatures, very high humidity and frequency of nasty afternoon storms, it just seems like a bad idea !! Can't imagine it will get any better in August but we'll see what the weather does in the next few weeks and may plan something very quickly for some weekend afternoon. We'll keep in touch on that. So the next scheduled event is the Madisonville Wooden Boat Festival. Hope you have all sent in your registrations and of course, we look forward to seeing everyone there. See the link and inforamtion above If any of you would like to get together for an afternoon or any other time, on or off the water, let us know and we'll see what we can do. With oils spills, scheduling conflicts, and weather, we've had a hard time getting events going but we wanted all of you to know that we'll keeping working at it and try to get together soon. |
